Surround Project pairs our artistic team and audiences with agencies and subject-matter experts in the San Antonio community, in conjunction with productions of notable contemporary American plays. Guided by our values of compassion, relationships, resilience, and risk, we explore the challenging issues our communities face today. We “surround” each play with context, activities, communal art-making, and conversations to deepen our understanding of the play, its themes, and one another.
