#TBT (Throwback Thornton!) Today’s Artist O’The Week is everyone’s favorite guy, Andrew Thornton.Thorntoon

He might be your acting coach, or you might love his whimsically original Thorntoons, or you just love watching him on stage in award-winning role after role after role – or all of the above! The point is, in San Antonio, Andy is the go-to-dude when you think of smart, fantastic, great-to-work with actors (and directors/cartoonists/teachers/etc).
Right now he is directing a devised piece at Northwest Vista College entitled NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES  – performances begin this weekend – and he will be featured in Opera San Antonio’s upcoming The Barber of Seville. And that’s just in the two weeks before we begin rehearsals for 9 Circles!
He also shares an upcoming April 23 birthday with the Bard of Avon himself … that, just like Andy, is pretty darn cool!

Here’s a list of interesting Andy-things.
