Today is National Mani/Pedi Day – I know, it’s really important stuff – and I’ll be celebrating this crucial National holiday this weekend with actor Makenzie Jene and friends at the Maynicures Kick-off Party. Come hang out with us (we’ll be there 2 – 3pm).

Celebrate the kick-off of Mental Health Awareness Month and join One in Five Minds for our third-annual Maynicures Kick-off Party!

Who: This kick-off party is for parents, mothers and daughters, professionals and other advocates for children’s mental health

What: A fun party in the heart of San Antonio: free mini-manicures, delicious food and non-alcoholic drinks, Kendra Scott prizes and nail lacquers, music and more. Join us and let’s make Maynicures for Mental Health go viral.

When: Sunday, April 30th; guests can arrive anytime between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Where: The Veranda, 1746 Lockhill Selma Rd. San Antonio, TX 78213

Maynicures is a fun campaign where the One in Five message comes to life! Women paint four of their nails one color and one nail a different color, take pictures of their Maynicure, share on social media and challenge their friends to do the same.

If you have a daughter, she’s invited! We want mothers and daughters to come and enjoy some special mother daughter time that honor them. Maynicures is a great family friendly event that everyone can enjoy so please feel free to also bring your husband and small children!

We’re excited to be partnering with the renowned jewelry designer Kendra Scott who is providing samples of their line of gorgeous nail lacquers.

***As you can imagine, there are costs for this campaign and the party, and we are asking for a voluntary donation of $15 per person when you register online, or at the party itself. Some of you will be able to donate this amount, some may be able to give more, however, for those of you not able give at this time please still come join us! Donations are optional.
